Stephen Ketchum, Managing Partner and CIO
Mr. Ketchum is the Founder and Managing Partner of Sound Point Capital Management, L.P. Previously, he was Global Head of Media & Telecom Investment and Corporate Banking for Banc of America Securities (“BofA”), where he was a member of the Global Investment Banking Leadership Team. As Global Head of Media & Telecom Banking, Mr. Ketchum was responsible, together with a risk partner, for a multi-billion dollar portfolio of bank and bridge loans. Prior to joining BofA, he was a Managing Director at UBS in the TMT Investment Banking Group. From 1990 to 2000, he was employed in the Investment Banking Department of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, most recently as a Managing Director. Mr. Ketchum is on the Board of Trustees of the East Side House Settlement, the New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund and the Museum of the City of New York. He earned his B.A. from New England College magna cum laude and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
James D. Carey, Member, Board of Managers
Mr. Carey is a Senior Principal of Stone Point Capital, a $13 billion private equity firm, and a member of the Investment Committees of the Trident Funds. He joined Stone Point in 1997 from Merrill Lynch & Co. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch & Co., Mr. Carey was a corporate attorney with Kelley Drye & Warren LLP. Mr. Carey is a director of a number of portfolio companies of the Trident Funds, including Alliant Insurance Services, Inc., Citco III Limited, Enstar Group Limited, the holding company of Amherst Pierpont Securities, Oasis Outsourcing Corporation, Privilege Underwriters, Inc. and Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. He holds a B.S. from Boston College, a J.D. from Boston College Law School and an M.B.A. from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business.
Marc Sole, Head of Hedge Fund Research / Co-Portfolio Manager (Beacon Fund)
Prior to joining Sound Point in 2015, Mr. Sole was a Portfolio Manager at Hudson Bay Capital Management LP responsible for covering the distressed securities market since 2011 and ran the Hudson Bay Absolute Credit Opportunities Fund. Mr. Sole began his career practicing law at Cravath, Swaine & Moore where he focused on mergers & acquisitions, high-yield bond offerings, commercial lending and asset-backed securities. Mr. Sole left Cravath in 2001 to join D.E. Shaw & Co. as an analyst for their Special Situations/Risk Arbitrage Group. In 2002, he became the first analyst, and third employee in D.E. Shaw's newly formed Distressed Securities Group, which managed the D.E. Shaw Laminar Fund. Mr. Sole eventually became co-head of research and then co-portfolio manager of the U.S. Credit Opportunities Strategy, one of three strategies within Laminar. In 2008, Mr. Sole moved to Plainfield Asset Management as deputy portfolio manager. At Plainfield, Mr. Sole managed the public securities portfolios and was primarily responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of their macro hedging program. Mr. Sole has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Owens Corning, Schuff International, Inc. and several private specialty finance companies. A native of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Mr. Sole graduated cum laude from Princeton University in 1993 with an A.B. from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Mr. Sole received his J.D. in 1996 from the Columbia University School of Law, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
Rick Richert, CFA, Portfolio Manager (Par Loans)
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Richert was a Principal in the CLO group at American Capital (“ACAS”). His primary role was managing the cash flow CLO and directly covered over 40 names in the Aerospace & Defense, Building Materials, Chemical, Electronics, Metals & Mining and Oil & Gas industries. This fund ranked in the top 7th percentile of all similar funds for the 3 years ended December 2009. Prior to ACAS, Mr. Richert was a Senior Credit Analyst at Sanno Point Capital Management, a credit-focused hedge fund, where he covered Home Builders, Metals & Mining, TMT, and Drug Store Retailers. Previously, he was a Director in the Bank Loan Unit at MetLife, where he worked for 10 years. At MetLife, Mr. Richert managed a $3.0+ billion portfolio of leveraged loans and directly covered over 40 names across many industries. Mr. Richert earned his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Michigan and his B.B.A. in Accounting from Southern College. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Murtaza Haque, Senior Credit Analyst / Portfolio Manager (CLOs)
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Haque was a senior credit analyst in the Senior Debt Group at Apollo Management where he spent 3 years focused primarily on leveraged loan and high yield investments. During his time at Apollo, he covered the Consumer, Retail and Healthcare industries and was part of the original investment team hired to build and grow what became the firm’s fastest growing platform. Prior to Apollo, Mr. Haque spent 6 years at Banc of America Securities (“BofA”), most recently as a vice president in Strategic Capital, a proprietary capital group, where he spent 3 years focused on high yield and distressed credit. For the 3 years prior at BofA, he was an investment banking associate in the Financial Sponsor Group. Prior to that, Mr. Haque worked in corporate development at Qwest Communications and as an investment banking analyst in the M&A group at JP Morgan. He earned his B.S.F.S. in International Economics from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
Don MacKinnon, Portfolio Manager (Real Estate)
Mr. MacKinnon served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Realty Finance Trust, Inc., a publically registered non-traded REIT from January 2013 to December 2015. As president, Mr. MacKinnon started the company, raised $800M of equity, built a team of 24 professionals and originated a portfolio of $1.6 billion of debt investments. Prior to starting Realty Financial Trust, Mr. MacKinnon served as Senior Vice President and Head of High Yield Portfolio Management for Cole Real Estate Investments from 2011 through 2012 where he invested approximately $350 million in credit sensitive CMBS and mezzanine loans. From 2008 to 2011, Mr. MacKinnon was a partner with EndPoint Financial, LLC where he provided CMBS advisory and real estate workout services. From 2004 through 2007, Mr. MacKinnon was a Managing Director at Nomura Securities International where he managed the North American Structured Credit Trading businesses including commercial real estate and asset backed securities. Prior to joining Nomura, Mr. MacKinnon served as President and Chief Executive Officer of REALM, Inc., a privately owned real estate software and services company primarily owned by Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst with CMGI and T.H. Lee, Putnam Equity Partners. Before joining REALM, Mr. MacKinnon was Co-Head and Co-Founder of the Commercial Mortgage Group and Manager of the European Asset Securitization Group at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc. (“DLJ”). Prior to joining DLJ in 1992, Mr. MacKinnon worked in the Real Estate Finance Group at Salomon Brothers, Inc. on a variety of commercial real estate debt and equity transactions. Mr. MacKinnon also served on the Board of Directors for CRIIMI Mae, Inc. (NYSE: “CMM”) from 2001 to 2003. Mr. MacKinnon graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ohio Wesleyan University with a B.A. in economics, and received an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
Andrew Winer, Porfolio Manager (Real Estate)
Mr. Winer served as the Chief Investment Officer of both Realty Finance Trust and Global Trust. In addition, Mr. Winer has served as Senior Vice President and Head of Debt Capital Markets for all AR Capital platform companies since January 2012. Mr. Winer has worked in commercial real estate finance for over 23 years (18 years at Credit Suisse and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc.). At Credit Suisse, Mr. Winer had oversight responsibility for the pricing, hedging and execution of commercial securitized real estate debt, along with the continued asset management of legacy loan and warehouse positions. From 2004 to 2008, Mr. Winer headed the Global CRE CDO and Warehouse Lending Groups. Prior to these positions, Mr. Winer spent five years as a fixed income salesperson and the preceding six years in various roles covering all facets of the commercial real estate finance business, including loan originations and securitizations. Mr. Winer started his career in Arthur Andersen’s Structured Products Group. During his time at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette he was awarded “VP of the Year” in 1995 and at Credit Suisse he was awarded “Top 50” in 2010. Mr. Winer holds both Bachelor and Graduate degrees from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. He is a certified public accountant and is Series 7, 63, and 24 licensed.
Tim Alexander, Senior Credit Analyst / European Head
Mr. Alexander serves as a member of the Investment Committee for the Sound Point Beacon Fund and Sound Point Credit Opportunities Fund. Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Alexander was the Head of the European Distressed Credit Trading business for UBS. He assembled, trained and managed a group of traders, analysts, private investment sources and loan closers to create a distressed, high yield and leveraged loan business. Mr. Alexander was also a distressed credit analyst and high yield trader for UBS. Prior to UBS, Timothy worked at Banker’s Trust in the private bank’s portfolio management division. Mr. Alexander holds a BSM in Finance from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business.
Antonello Di Meo, Senior Credit Analyst
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Di Meo was a senior distressed debt analyst for the European Distressed Credit Trading business at Barclays, where he performed fundamental credit analysis in European distressed situations. Prior to Barclays, Antonello worked at HBK Investments as a credit analyst and at Texas Pacific Group in their European private equity team. Mr. Di Meo graduated cum laude in Economics from Bocconi University (Milan).
Andrew Draznin, Senior Credit Analyst
Mr. Draznin started at Sound Point in September 2014. Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Draznin spent nearly five years as a high yield bond and leveraged loan research analyst with Deutsche Bank Securities where he was most recently a Vice President and lead analyst covering the Technology and Aerospace and Defense sectors. Mr. Draznin received Honorable Mention by Institutional Investor’s annual All-American High Yield Fixed-Income Research rankings for the Technology sector for 2012, 2013, and 2014. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Mr. Draznin began his career as a high yield bond analyst at Harvest Management, a credit and equity hedge fund specializing in merger arbitration. Mr. Draznin is NASD series 7 and 63 certified and graduated from Union College in 2007 with a B.S in Economics.
Renee M. Gallizzo, Head of CLO Structuring
Prior to joining Sound Point, Ms. Gallizzo was a senior member of the CLO Product Team at Prudential Investment Management. During her 8-year tenure there, Ms. Gallizzo structured, closed and brought effective several $500+ million U.S. and European CLOs from origination; she was also responsible for handling the structural requirements of the funds throughout their term. Between 2009 and 2011, Ms. Gallizzo led the Global CLO Manager M&A effort in Prudential’s London office, successfully negotiating and onboarding several U.S. and European Replacement Manager mandates; one of these mandates returned over 140% on the initial price paid within 18 months. Prior to her time at Prudential, Ms. Gallizzo spent nearly 3 years at Standard & Poor’s as a Cash and Synthetic CDO Ratings Analyst. Ms. Gallizzo earned her M.B.A. in Finance from New York Institute of Technology and her B.A. in Journalism and Business Law from The Pennsylvania State University.
Ryan Kohan, Senior Credit Analyst / Co-Portfolio Manager (Loan Mutual Fund)
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Kohan spent over 4 years as a portfolio credit analyst for Doral Leveraged Asset Management (“DLAM”). He covered over 50 names in the Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Food & Beverage, and Industrial industries. Prior to DLAM, Mr. Kohan was an Analyst in the Restructuring Group of Rothschild, where he worked on various transactions that included the Borders Group Inc., Circuit City Stores Inc., and FairPoint Communications, Inc. Mr. Kohan graduated magna cum laude from Babson College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
Harsh Kondapalli, Senior Credit Analyst
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Kondapalli was a Director in the Distressed Debt and Special Situations group at UBS Investment Bank, where he focused on distressed, credit and event-driven investments. During his tenure at UBS, Mr. Kondapalli also spent 4 years as an investment banking professional within the Leverage Finance group, underwriting and analyzing debt transactions for leading financial sponsor and corporate clients. He earned his B.S.E in Biomedical Engineering with a double major in Economics from Duke University.
Giacomo Picco, Senior Credit Analyst / Head of Corporate Solutions
Mr. Picco serves as a member of the Investment Committee for the Sound Point Beacon Fund and Sound Point Credit Opportunities Fund. Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Picco was a Senior Analyst and Partner at KS Management Corp, an event-driven hedge fund with assets over $500 million. Prior to becoming a Partner, Mr. Picco served as Co-Head of Research. Prior to KS, Mr. Picco was an Associate at The Carlyle Group, where he worked on leveraged buyout transactions. Prior to Carlyle, he worked at Lazard Freres as a banker in their mergers and acquisitions group. Mr. Picco serves on the Board of Directors of Euramax Holdings, Inc. and Nelson Education, Ltd. He also serves as a Director at the EB Research Partnership. He holds an M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School and a B.A. degree from Columbia University.
Bradley Schneider, Senior Credit Analyst
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Schneider was a senior analyst in the Strategic Value Fund at Apollo Management where for almost 4 years he focused on distressed, high yield and credit-driven special situation investments. Prior to his time at Apollo, he spent 5 years at Lehman Brothers including 3 years within high yield research covering the gaming and leisure sectors and 2 years as an investment banking analyst within the Global Power group. Mr. Schneider graduated with High Distinction from the University of Michigan Business School with a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting.
Garrick Stannard, Senior Credit Analyst
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Stannard spent 6 years as a senior distressed and special situations analyst at Aristeia Capital, a credit opportunities hedge fund with over $4 billion of assets under management. Prior to Aristeia, Mr. Stannard was a senior analyst at Novator Partners and Context Capital Management. He began his career in the Investment Banking Group at Deutsche Bank, where he spent over 7 years in the Project & Structured Finance, Restructuring and Mergers & Acquisitions groups. Mr. Stannard holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Colgate University.
Joe Xu, Senior Credit Analyst
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Xu spent over 3 years as a credit analyst with Ares Management, where he evaluated leveraged loan opportunities in the Business Services, Consumer, Industrial, Media and Technology sectors. Prior to Ares, Mr. Xu evaluated, structured and executed private equity and mezzanine debt investments for Veronis Suhler Stevenson, a middle market private equity and specialty finance firm. Mr. Xu began his career as an investment banking analyst with William Blair & Company and graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in Accounting.
Peter Bruton, Credit Analyst
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Bruton was an Analyst in the Global Industrials Group at Credit Suisse in the Investment Banking Department. During his tenure at Credit Suisse, Mr. Bruton focused on the execution of M&A transactions as well as debt and equity offerings. Mr. Bruton has extensive leveraged finance experience in the Building Products, Chemicals and Transportation industries. He received his Master of Management Studies from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and Bachelor of Arts from Davidson College.
Robert Durante, Credit Analyst
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Durante spent 2 years as a credit analyst at Regiment Capital Advisors where he evaluated high yield bond and leveraged loan opportunities as part of Regiment’s performing credit team. Mr. Durante began his career as a junior analyst at Regiment Capital and graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a B.S. in Economics.
Aaron Moore, Credit Analyst
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Moore was an Analyst in the Financial Sponsor Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (“BofAML”), where he focused on executing buyout, M&A, and leveraged finance transactions for leading financial sponsor clients and their portfolio companies. During his tenure at BofAML, Mr. Moore also spent 2 years as an Analyst in the Leveraged Finance Group, executing numerous leveraged loan and high yield transactions for corporate clients across a variety of industries. He earned both his Master of Science in Finance and his B.S.B.A in Finance magna cum laude from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
Todd Becker, Head Trader
Todd Becker has more than ten years of experience in distressed and special-situation credit and was most recently a member of the Global Distressed Credit Group in which he traded U.S. distressed and special-situations credit. He also worked at GE Capital managing a portfolio of non-performing loans in the workout group of a $5bn credit business. Mr. Becker holds a BA from Dartmouth College and a MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
Philip Day, Senior Trader
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Day was a head trader for a $400 million distressed portfolio at Hudson Bay Capital Management, LP. Prior to Hudson Bay, Mr. Day worked at Plainfield Asset Management. Mr. Day was a high yield trader from 1999 to 2005 at RBC Capital Markets and is a graduate of Marquette University.
David Kamiya, CFA, Senior Trader
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Kamiya was a director in credit trading at Maxim Group. Before Maxim, Mr. Kamiya spent 3 years at Saba Principal Strategies, the credit proprietary trading desk at Deutsche Bank, and 3 years as a portfolio manager and municipal bond credit analyst in the Asset Management Group at Bank of Hawai`i. He earned his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa and an M.B.A from the NYU Stern School of Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
Kevin Gerlitz, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Gerlitz has over 25 years of CFO/COO experience with hedge funds across various strategies and products. Mr. Gerlitz was previously the CFO/COO of Raven Asset Management. Joining Raven in 2005, Mr. Gerlitz implemented and managed all accounting, financial reporting, operations and technology needs for this new hedge fund that grew assets to over $800 million over a two-year period. Mr. Gerlitz graduated from SUNY Farmingdale with an A.S. in Business Administration.
Brian Feldman, General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer
Mr. Feldman has over fifteen years of legal experience with hedge funds across various strategies and products. Mr. Feldman was previously the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of G2 Advisors, Pergamon Advisors/Acorn Advisory Capital, and AM Investment Partners. Prior to joining AM Investment Partners, Mr. Feldman was an Associate at Fried Frank Harris Shriver and Jacobson from 1998-2003, where he specialized in asset management and securities regulatory issues. He earned his B.A. from University of Pennsylvania, cum laude, and a J.D from the Georgetown University Law Center.
Jordan Michels, Head of Operations
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Michels was a UBS distressed credit and equity trader and previously supported the group as an associate director, in capacities as trading assistant and senior operations manager within middle-office operations. Prior to UBS, he was a senior analyst for financial control within the Treasury and Funding group at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Michels holds a BS in Finance with a minor in Accounting from Fairfield University and an MBA concentrating in finance from Fairfield University.
Greg Cresci, Head of Recruiting and Human Resources
Mr. Cresci is Head of Recruiting & Human Resources. Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Cresci worked at Credit Suisse, where he was the firm’s lead recruiter for Americas Equities. Before Credit Suisse, Mr. Cresci had a similar role at UBS. He has been a Wall Street recruiter since 2006. Mr. Cresci began his career as a financial journalist, and spent 6 years covering bulge-bracket investment banks as a reporter for Reuters and Bloomberg. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont and holds a Master’s degree from the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University.
Crystal Frumberg, Controller
Ms. Frumberg joined Sound Point in March 2014 as the Firm’s Controller. Prior to joining Sound Point, Ms. Frumberg was at Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. as an Assistant Vice President in the accounting department. Ms. Frumberg began her career at Ernst & Young, LLP where she became a Manager in the Assurance/Financial Services Office. Ms. Frumberg received her B.S. in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York.
Dwayne Weston, Director - Operations (CLOs)
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Weston worked in the loan operations group at BlueMountain Capital where he was the senior person working with thirteen CLOs as well as multiple hedge funds and SMA accounts. His duties revolved around all operational aspects of the CLO, from warehousing to preparing monthly reports and quarterly note valuation reports. He was also responsible for the TRS financing of hedge funds and managed the par/distressed debt closing process. Prior to joining BlueMountain, he was a senior operations associate at Scoggin Capital Management. Mr. Weston holds a BS in Finance with a minor in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Connecticut.
Doug Bortner, CFA, Associate - Risk Reporting
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Bortner worked at J.P. Morgan Chase as a firmwide market risk analyst and at UBS as a credit trading valuation control specialist. Doug is an Economics and Finance BS graduate of Bentley University and a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
Monica Cheng, Senior Manager - Compliance
Mrs. Cheng has over 9 years of compliance experience in investment management. Prior to joining Sound Point, Mrs. Cheng was a Senior Compliance Officer at Man Group plc. Prior to joining Man, she was a Compliance Officer at Ark Asset Management. Mrs. Cheng also worked in various roles at Evercore Partners and The Carlyle Group. She earned her B.A. from University at Buffalo, State University of New York and a J.D. from New York Law School.
Mike Finnell, Senior Associate - Operations
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Finnell was an Operations Associate at Mitsubishi Corporation Asset Management, supporting three hedge funds specializing in Bank Loan, Corporate Bonds, and Container Shipping strategies. Prior to Mitsubishi Corp, he was an Operations Associate at H/2 Capital Partners, a $9bb Commercial Real Estate credit platform. Mr. Finnell graduated from Villanova University with a BA in Political Science and a Business Minor, he is currently a CFA Level II Candidate.
Nick Libertiny, Senior Associate - Operations
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Libertiny was a Trading Assistant at Nomura Corporate Research and Asset Management Inc. supporting the High Yield, Leveraged Loan, and Emerging Market portfolios. Prior to Nomura he was a Sales Assistant for the High Yield sales and trading desk at UBS. Mr. Libertiny holds a BA in Political Economy with a minor in Math from Georgetown University.
Josh Mintz, Assistant Controller (Fund Accounting)
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Mintz was a supervisor at McGladrey, LLP. Mr. Mintz began his career at KPMG where he was an experienced associate. Mr. Mintz is a licensed CPA in the state of New York and received a B.S. in Accounting from Touro College.
Misha Shah, Associate - Operations
Prior to joining Sound Point, Misha was an Alternative Product Associate at Prudential helping in all facets of the CLO operations processes, monthly reporting and reconcilations, and payment waterfall calculations. Prior to Prudential, Misha was a Market and Credit Analyst at Pramerica Asset Managers Ltd (Prudential) focused on exposure limits, macro-economic trends and forecasting, as well regulatory changes. Misha graduated from Drexel with a B.S. in Business Administration.
Christy Lim, Associate - Operations
Prior to joining Sound Point, Ms. Lim was a NAV Specialist at State Street Corporation where she supported hedge funds specializing in Loans and Corporate Bonds. Prior to State Street, she worked in the loan operations group at SS&C GlobeOp servicing par and distressed loan portfolios. Ms. Lim holds a B.B.A in Finance with a minor in Law and Policy from Baruch College.
Jamie Abid, Associate - Operations
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mrs. Abid worked in the closing group at Credit Suisse for eight years supporting multiple CLOs and SMA accounts. She served as a member of the Loan Syndication Trade Association (“LSTA”) Buy-side Committee during that time and was also a panel speaker for the LSTA Operations conference in 2011 and 2013. Prior to Credit Suisse, she was in the closing group at Morgan Stanley and worked in similar capacities at Merrill Lynch and JPMorgan Chase Bank. Mrs. Abid holds a BA in Social Science from Fordham University.
John Puma, Director - Information Technology
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Puma was a Team Lead Engineer at Gravitas Technology, where he provided operational oversight for a large subset of Gravtias’ clients and was looked to as a primary escalation point for high-priority issues. Before that, he spent five years at Eze Castle Integration where he was a Senior Systems Engineer and served as full-time coverage engineer at Samlyn Capital.
Danielle Heineman, Executive Assistant
Prior to joining Sound Point Capital, Ms. Heineman was an executive assistant at Roundtable Investment Partners where she supported three senior partners: the CFO/CCO, Chief Client Officer and Vice Chairman. Prior to joining Sound Point, Ms. Santiccioli worked at Carolina Herrera assisting the Public Relations and Marketing department. She was primarily responsible for coordinating marketing campaigns, corporate event logistics, and served as a liaison between the firm and potential buyers. Ms. Santiccioli graduated from the Loyola University in Maryland with a B.A. in Business and an additional study in International Business.

Prior to joining Sound Point, Mrs. Seelaus was at Plainfield Asset Management LLC where she was primarily responsible for marketing to investors in North and South America. Prior to joining Plainfield, Mrs. Seelaus was Head of Business Development at Cedarview Capital Management, LP where she was solely responsible for marketing, client relations and the development and launch of new products. Mrs. Seelaus received her A.B. in politics and economics from Princeton University.
Tory Gossage, Director of Business Development
Prior to joining Sound Point, Ms. Gossage was at Artist Capital LLC where she was primarily responsible for marketing hedge funds to institutional investors. Her other responsibilities included sourcing, evaluating and structuring Artist Capital seeding investments and advising on business development for seeded hedge fund managers. A Canadian citizen, Ms. Gossage has completed her Level 1 CAIA and is registered as Level 2 candidate. Ms. Gossage graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Economics from Queen’s University, Ontario, Canada.
Leighton Zema, Director of Retail Business Development
Prior to joining Sound Point, Leighton spent time as a Vice President of Business Development at Lyxor, a $~100bn European-based asset manager, where he was responsible for marketing to insurance companies, family offices, and asset managers, along with building the registered products businesses in the United States. Before his time at Lyxor, Mr. Leighton spent 5+ years at Neuberger Berman. At Neuberger, he held several roles across the alternative/intermediary teams and was key to the firm’s success in liquid alternatives. He began his career as an analyst at Deutsche Bank with stints in both London and New York. Leighton received both his undergraduate and MBA degrees from Villanova University. He was a member of the football team as undergraduate and graduate research assistant for the Department of Finance while completing his MBA.

Julie Smith, Director of Client Service
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mrs. Smith was with EMF Financial Products LLC where she solely managed the marketing and investor relations efforts for the firm. Prior to joining EMF, Mrs. Smith was the Manager of Investor Relations for Oxford Capital Partners and was primarily responsible for institutional business development and managing new product launches. Prior to Oxford Capital, Mrs. Smith was with Sandell Asset Management Ltd. where she was responsible for co-managing the investor relations efforts as well as marketing to family offices and Latin America based institutional investors. Mrs. Smith received her Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Virginia.
David Grill, Head of Strategy
Prior to joining Sound Point, Mr. Grill was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse since 2006, where he provided investment banking services and developed insurance strategies and platforms for Credit Suisse Asset Management. He has also been a senior banker at Bear Stearns and Sagent Advisors and held a number of executive positions at Reliance Group Holdings. Throughout his career, Mr. Grill provided mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and strategic advisory services to a broad variety of insurance and healthcare companies, asset managers, government entities, financial institutions and private equity firms. Mr. Grill received an M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from New York University and a B.S. in Economics from Cornell University.
Courtney Grabel, Associate - Business Development
Prior to joining Sound Point, Ms. Grabel was an analyst at UBS Financial Services in the Private Wealth Management division. She was primarily responsible for constructing performance reports and generating investment ideas for clients. PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION
If you have been provided a username and password to access Restricted Areas on this Site, you must provide to us the following Personally Identifiable Information: your name, mailing address, email address, phone number(s) and fax number. In addition, you may have provided Sound Point certain Personally Identifiable Information related to financial matters, including, without limitation, social security numbers, employment, asset, income and other household information, other personal financial data, investment portfolio information and other investment information.
You can choose not to provide us with certain Personally Identifiable Information, but then you may not be able to access the Restricted Areas.
In general, you can browse the public areas of the Site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. We may receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us through your use of the Site. Sound Point automatically receives and records your browser information, operating system information, IP address, cookie information and the page you requested. This information will not be stored in a manner that is personally identifiable with you.
In connection with your visit to the Site, we may automatically collect usage information, such as the numbers and frequency of Users to the Site and their components. This data is only used in the aggregate, that is, as a statistical measure, and not in a manner that would identify you personally.
Sound Point uses both “session” and “persistent” cookies on the Site. Session cookies are temporary bits of information that are erased once you exit your Web browser or turn off your computer. The aggregate information collected by Sound Point is also used to create portraits of the audience for the Site, portraits which present anonymous statistical demographic information but no Personally Identifiable Information. REGISTRANT LOGIN CREDENTIALS
